5/21/2023 0 Comments Artifact of the massive![]() When playing off-field Dehya, only use her Skill, and only enough to keep her Pyro application going. When you're playing on-field Dehya, you want to use the first "half" of her Skill (more on this later), swap to other teammates to activate buffs, then swap back to Dehya for the second half of her Skill, followed by her Burst. As such, it is not advised to use Normal Attacks for Dehya's damage. This is the lowest possible investment option and ignores her damage-dealing potential entirely.ĭehya's damage multipliers on her Normal Attacks are lower than even the worst performing 4-stars in the game, like Xinyan (another Pyro Claymore user). One further issue is that Dehya's Burst attacks do not synergize with powerful Pyro DPS supports in other elements like Yelan, Xingqiu, and Beidou, further restricting her viable use-cases.įinally, Dehya can be played solely as a dedicated support, only focusing on her interruption resistance she gives to her teammates, damage mitigation, and Pyro application, as well as buffs from artifact sets or weapons. This is comparably viable in terms of damage output, assuming you stack nothing but Elemental Mastery on Dehya instead of the typical ATK%/DMG%/CRIT% build. However, constellations on Dehya, which are easier to get thanks to entering the standard pool of 5-stars, fix this issue.Īs an off-field DPS, Dehya ignores all aspects of her kit, using only her Skill for Pyro application in order to trigger Burgeon reactions. Many currently existing 4-star characters can deal equal or more damage than Dehya. Dehya, in this role, is comparable to Klee in terms of damage output, though Klee does not share Dehya's high 200% Energy Recharge requirement for functioning. However, due to several limitations in her kit, including damage numbers, her viable team compositions as of 3.5 are few.Īs an on-field DPS, Dehya struggles to fill the role adequately unless she is supplied with numerous buffs from characters like Bennett and Kazuha. It's safe, then, to say that Dehya is a flexible character (in terms of roles) who is most like playing the role of a Tank in other role-playing games. This Skill, however, only works when Dehya is off-field, and demands an entirely different stat set-up.įor more information on why good elemental application is important, check out my Comprehensive Guide to Elemental Reactions. ![]() However, her Skill is primarily useful as a support option to provide intnerruption resistance, damage mitigation, and slow Pyro application to more easily trigger Burgeon Reactions. On one hand, most of her on-field damage comes from her Burst, which depends on 8 or more seconds of field time in a rotation. She occasionally has reruns, but she is also obtainable on any banner starting with 3.6, albeit at much lower pull odds.ĭehya's true role is ambiguous on a team.
